CV goalie headed to New Mexico

Reigning All-Area and All-CIF goalie, Amanda Rose-Johnson of Crescenta Valley High has accepted a scholarship offer to play soccer for New Mexico Highlands.

Reggie Rivas, Rose-Johnson’s coach at Crescenta Valley and with the Crescenta Valley Soccer Club, reported the news on Thursday.

The talented goalie has three shutouts thus far for the Falcons, who are ranked seventh in CIF Southern Section Division II.
