Local harriers set for CIF prelims

Six local high school cross-country teams and one individual will take to the course at Mount san Antonio College in Walnut today with the hopes of returning next week for the CIF finals.

Crescenta Valley kicks of the day with its boys’ team running at 9:09 a.m. in Heat 4 of Division I and the Falcons’ girls taking part in the first heat of Division I at 9:20 a.m. Flintridge Prep will run its boys’ team in the third heat of Division V at 10:37 a.m. and its girls in the first heat of Division V at 11:17 a.m.

St. Francis will run in the third heat of Division III at 12:07 p.m. Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy will run at 2:16 p.m. in the third heat of Division IV, which will also include Holy Family’s Gladys Hernandez as a solo entrant.
