The Falcons’ main competition will be from rival Arcadia, which sent Crescenta Valley to its first league defeat since 2004 when it captured the opening league meet earlier this season on Sept. 23, but the field will also include Glendale and Hoover. However, the Falcons bounced back to win the second league meet of the year.

The Falcons’ girls are led by Claudia Pham and Brooke Moultrie and are coming off a third-place finish at Mount San Antonio College in the Varsity Division I Green race.

Boys’ cross-country teams from Crescenta Valley, Glendale and Hoover will also compete on Thursday, with Arcadia a heavy favorite.
