A candlelight procession in honor of the Day of the Dead will take place tonight at 7 p.m. at Olvera, Los Angeles and Alameda streets in downtown Los Angeles.

The Day of the Dead,  held on Nov. 1-2 each year, focuses on gatherings of family and friends to remember loved ones who have died.

As part of the celebration, hundreds visited graves at Forest Lawn-Hollywood Hills on Sunday, where flowers were scattered on the cemetery grounds.
