Darabedyan (8-1)  will make his debut against former WEC lightweight champion “Razor” Rob McCullough (17-5, 8-3 in WEC).

This is a huge step in the career of the 22-year-old Darabedyan, who will fight McCullough in a three-round lightweight (155 pounds) bout that will air as part of the main card on Versus.

The WEC, which features lighter weight classes, is owned by Zuffa, the parent company of the Ultimate Fighting Championship.

The card will be headlined by a featherweight title fight between champion Mike Thomas Brown and challenger Jose Aldo. Also on the card will be Manny Gamburyan, Darabedyan’s training partner at Glendale’s Main Event Gym among other places, fighting Leonard Garcia.
