National Weather Services cancels flood watch

From LAist:

The National Weather Service has canceled the Flash Flood Watch issued yesterday in conjunction with the current weather system that is bringing rains to the area.

As the storm approached, residents of recent burn areas, like the hills in the northern parts of Glendale, in La Crescenta, in La Cañada-Flintridge scorched by the massive Station Fire, worked diligently to prepare their homes and hillsides for potential mud or debris flows. Today, however, the rain has lightened, and for now, the threat of more destruction in the hills seems to have been paused.

While the rain and clouds are expected to hang around through tonight, the forecast for tomorrow is for sunshine and highs in the upper 70s and low 80s.
