Burroughs volleyball player Traci Hamanaka makes college choice

Traci Hamanaka, a standout girls’ volleyball player at Burroughs High, will play next season at Wellesley College, which is just outside of Boston.

Hamanaka, a senior libero, will be playing volleyball for the Wellesley Blue Pride starting in the fall.

Hamanaka is a four-time All-Area selection and she was named the Pacific League co-Player of the Year this past season in which she averaged 22.2 digs a match.
