Violent crime up in Burbank, down in Glendale

Violent crime in Burbank edged up for the first six months of 2009, but dropped in neighboring Glendale, according to preliminary figures released by the FBI today.
Property-related crimes, including burglary and larceny, were down in both cities compared to the same period last year.
